AutoZone benefits from accepting online payments

AutoZone supplies numerous automotive parts and accessories to many North American shoppers, both in stores and online. This company has noticeably improved its online sales recently, which may continue in the foreseeable future.

In its most recent fiscal quarter, AutoZone's online sales increased 80 percent. Additionally, the business may invest in new credit card processing systems to further extend its reach over the next several years as it strives to emphasize its products and services to more customers.

"We believe our ongoing efforts to improve our inventory assortment and accelerate its deployment will have meaningful impacts on results for upcoming quarters," said Bill Rhodes, the company's chief executive officer.

Internet Retailer reports that more shoppers are actively searching for businesses that offer online support. Researchers found that 35 percent of all shoppers found e-commerce websites through online searches last year, up from 28 percent in 2011.

Online vendors may need to find unique ways to promote their products to online customers, especially as more merchants enter the marketplace. However, credit card processing solutions are worthwhile for retailers of all sizes, allowing them to effectively respond to client requests.
